Established in 1994, ECHO's goals are to promote, support and improve the quality of life for families, individuals, veterans and organizations in the Ephrata area. Families in need are assisted through Ephrata Area Social Services with food, rent, medical bill assistance and an annual Christmas party for needy children. ECHO members also visit veterans in local nursing homes to deliver roses. Activities include an annual golf outing, a February bus trip to Atlantic City and a community dance in October.
